We had a fabulous day at the Northern Counties Cross Country relays in Sheffield on Saturday – despite the M1 being closed which led to some stressful journeys to actually get there on time! The juniors were at their best and produced some great results.

Just a few highlights from the day from our youngest juniors who were racing this event for the first time & are in the younger end of their age group. All of them were great – although it’s a bit confusing understanding how the handovers work!
The U11 girls whizzed around and the teams were placed 15th & 26th with Bethan getting a top 10 finish out of all the runners.
The speedy team of William, Dylan & William did us proud with a great 19th place.
The U13 girls were tremendous with all 6 girls having fabulous runs. A 3rd and 24th team places and equal fastest on the day for Maisey & 8th fastest for Phoebe.
The U13 boys were equally fab with Archie 4th fastest on the day and a great 7th team placing for Archie, Joe & Ewan.
Our older juniors had to contend with a very muddy course. Sam H got a fab joint 9th fastest on the day in a very competitive U15 boys race with the team finishing 18th. The U15 girls team finished in 27th place.
