As part of consolidating and improving KCAC, the committee has established three roles that could be voluntarily filled by members. We are looking for volunteers!
2, Event Volunteer coordinator – discuss volunteer needs with KCAC race directors to determine where and when support is needed. Find ways to encourage volunteering and plan in advance, not just at the last minute (e.g. manage expectations on joining / renewing membership). Help to recognise the great contribution that volunteers bring.
3, Media and Communications officer – Share the great achievements of our club with Members and the public and press, Junior and Senior Race Winners, Team and individual achievements. Help to promote Club events and Races, On the website, by club email and Social Media.
Would anyone interested in any of the above please speak to a committee member or email Chris Tomes , club secretary. The role holders will have the support of the committee and can attend any committee meetings but will not be obliged to do so”
