The Club is delighted to announce that the following people have kindly stepped up to help us run this great club and have the full support of the committee.
Please give them your support and help where you can, even if its just responding to an email, volunteering to help, many hands make light work …

Here are the roles and VERY brief descriptions of what is involved I am sure you will hear more from each as they “find their feet”

Ladies Captain – Angela Paxton
Managing and selecting teams for key races team events and relays
Media and communications – Sharon Hudson
Communicating club news, events and information to club members and external Media.
Volunteer co-coordinator – Emma Dooks and Lorna Hubbard

Assistant Junior coordinator – Sarah Meikle
Supporting the great work Jo Lewis does with team entries, membership, general Junior stuff

The position of Membership Secretary is a key role in the running of the club, see below A message from our Jill Bell, who has done a fantastic job of professionalising the membership process over recent years and we are all very grateful for her efforts and commitment

“I have decided to step down from being KCAC membership secretary, as I will be on holiday when the subscriptions are renewed. Therefore the club is looking for someone to take over the role.

The Membership Secretary role involves….

*Advertise the current membership rates and joining process
*Answer queries from new members, existing members and coaches on the joining process and England Athletics registrations
*Most members join and renew online, those that pay by cash need to be entered onto the online system
*Register runners with England Athletics
*The online system we currently use is paysubsonline.com, but this is not the only one available.
*The membership fees are almost £8,000 per year.
Please let me or any of the committee know if you would be interested, I’m happy to answer any questions.”
